Company Profile
Market LeadershipeiVia's roots extend deep into the Business Intelligence market. The company's founders have been at the forefront of innovation and applications software development for over 20 years. The original vision for the company came from a simple observation: despite the success of Business Intelligence, users rely on desktop spreadsheets for the bulk of analysis. Rather than Online Analysis Processing (OLAP), the reality is most users are engaged in Offline Analysis Processing. Analytic applications have begun moving into the “cloud”—a reference to Internet-accessible software. To provide truly Actionable Business Intelligence, the flexibility and ease-of-use characteristics of the desktop spreadsheet must be duplicated in the cloud. eiVia's core technology is an online spreadsheet—the world's largest pivot table with database write-back capabilities. eiVia is privately held and is headquartered in Minneapolis, MN. |
